Requirements:

** The most important requirement for working at Kang Ning is enjoying working with children.  This is first and foremost and if this does not apply to you then perhaps you are in the wrong profession.

l          A Bachelors Degree

l          TESOL, TEFL, ESL certificate is preferred but not required.

l          Experience working with children

Those who are interested in teaching at Kang Ning English School should provide us with the following:

l        Copies diplomas & certificates/license;

l        Two letters of recommendation (from previous employers, if possible).  Read up on Taiwan before you come.  Doing so will help you cope with the culture shock that comes from being in a place that may be totally different form any you’ve lived in before.

Training:

A one-month training period will begin once the teacher has arrived and is situated.  During this month of training, teachers will receive airfare compensation equivalent to one-third of their regular salary.  Teachers training duties will be to observe experienced teachers in the classroom, watch teaching videos, attend staff meetings and any events or activities that will take place during the training period.  If during the training period, there are seminars or instruction available that will enhance the new teacher’s performance, Kang Ning will pay for and transport teachers.  Teachers are expected to be at Kang Ning during regular work hours for the duration of the training period.
